The food and ambiance are great. The half-chicken entree, Brussels sprouts, and French onion soup were top highlights. But, the service was very disappointing. It first started with the hostess giving us a hard time (2 of us) for coming early to sit at the bar for a glass of wine when it was empty. She initially wanted to deny us saying it was because we had a dinner table reservation coming in 45 minutes. We were allowed to sit at the bar until the rest of our party (2 others) arrived and we moved to the table. Our table service was unusually slow and the server was nice but forgetful. Sometimes I hadn't seen him for 10+ mins and had to ask the hostess to refill our waters. It took ~15-20 minutes to get our cocktails which was surprising because it was very quiet/slow with just one other party in the entire restaurant. We were quite frustrated when our server took our plates/entrees as we were still working on them - not a lot left as we all split a bunch of stuff - but still weren't finished and he did it without asking. But what infuriated us was the server accidentally running my card for another person's table and then making a joke about it. We know accidents happen but after a long night of disappointments - we didn't find it funny. Hoping this was just a one-off. But, for the price of the menu - service was not there.

Toured the building and dined for lunch at T. Brasserie. The food was beyond amazing. We tried the crab stuffed avocado, brussels sprouts, frisee salad and sausage over mashed. And the onion soup...omg, the BEST we ever had, hands down. Service was great and price was reasonable. Will be back again soon.

Service was not good, we waited over 15 min just to have water poured at the table. One of our salads was served completely wrong, missing the main components of pears and apples. My mussels were served almost warm, very disappointing, I look forward to eating at any of JG establishments because I am expecting to have a solid experience both in food and service, but not this time.

    T. Brasserie at Tin Building by Jean-Georges was great. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was quick but not rushed. A really fun place to grab lunch or dinner if you're near the Seaport. Highly recommend!

First of all, if you offer water, you should say that it’s a purchase versus tap. I had to buy an entire bottle of overpriced, sparkling water. Plus the food was awful. How do you serve a rock, hard avocado ?

The waiter tried but was not able to give us the correct drink order. I got up and went to the bar and took a picture of the bottles so I could point it out. That wasn’t a huge deal but they did not cook the steak correctly either. They saw the 75% uneaten steak and didn’t really care. Then it got busy and it was a struggle to get the check and leave. Everything here is always very inconsistent. Service is all over the place, food is inconsistent and wait times vary wildly, and the drinks are usually not well made and waiters never know the spirits list (just print it out and hand it to people).

We had the most wonderful server! They even went above and beyond when they didn't have the tea that we wanted they went and bought it in the store and came back and said no problem. The food was ending and we even got it tip on how to make the delicious mushrooms from our server. So thank you very much we will definitely return when back in the city. Thank you!!

The food was delicious as expected. The host kindly accommodated our request for a bigger table. Just the ongoing attention was irregular. The restaurant wasn’t packed and one had to continually ask for the next stage of the experience or for water, as an example.

Can I please have the contact details urgently of whoever is in charge of The Brasserie, I attempted to dine there this afternoon but had to leave before the food arrived as the service was absolutely appalling the both the server and the "manager" or gentleman wearing suit were beyond rude not to mention incompetent and completely lacking any sort of social skills. I didn’t manage to get his name as he stormed off throwing his head in the air when I asked him. I asked to speak to the senior person in charge to be told that "I swear to god both the GM and the assistant are on vacation" I would like to speak to someone immediately, your team have throughly ruined my wife's birthday and are disgrace to your restaurant. I look forward to hearing from you
