I was pleasantly surprised by the value we received considering the wonderful food. My one critism is that all the wines by the glass were from the West Coast. I wish France was better represented.

I'm from Louisiana, and the food was just ok, I expected more seasoning in the food, it was bland. I ordered the chicken and it was just ok. Nothing special about this restaurant, there are better one located in the French Quarter. Price wise, a little on the high side for the quality of food.

Really, the food was awesome. Would love to give it all 5's, but it was a roller coaster of great and painful (literally). They seated us in the upstairs bar where a drinking tour group of about 16 inebriated temporary drink-and-go to the next establishment patrons were all trying to out-yell each other. Literally, painfully loud. We ordered a couple of delicious cocktails, very good. Thankfully, the screaming drunks left, and we ordered starters... delicious. But every five minutes, a waiter was squeezing behind my chair to go in/out the door to the balcony to serve. It was annoying, and a chilly evening in New Orleans which was evidently not apparent to the server that would leave the door hanging open 6 inches right next to my chair each time. Wife was shivering in her cocktail dress. We ordered dinner and a bottle of wine. Both were top-notch. Then we ordered dessert and coffee. The coffee came immediately. We waited 10 minutes, asked about the dessert, very apologetic, "we'll check on it," waited another 5, asked again, after over 25 minutes I told the waiter never mind. He was sincerely apologetic, took the dessert off and comped our drinks. But really, the food was awesome. Just not an all-on night for the atmosphere and service.

Lovely food. Was seated upstairs which lacked some of the atmosphere that we could hear downstairs so I would recommend asking g to sit downstairs. Food top-notch.
