I have been several times. This place is just happy. The vibe is amazing. Food is solid and presentation so clever. We had a large birthday yesterday. Had such fun despite our waiter. He clearly did not want to be there. He did his job, took order. Brought food. No pleasantry. Odd for such a happy place and my first experience with that here. The hostess was fabulous! We had a total bill that we wanted split between 3 cards. For 8 people. Not separate checks. One check. 3 cards. He said not allowed and remember for next time. You know what we’ll remember, to not sit in your section. 22% tip was auto added which was more than fine and we added to it.. He was just not trying to go one step beyond bare minimum. He then added insult to injury by miscalculating total bill divisions which he did apologize for when pointed out. He did not wreck our time but clearly should work in a less happy place! Go! Enjoy! Just avoid the sourpuss!

Awful! We were seated at a 2-top next to kitchen. We were seated with a drink menu, but no food menus. After five minutes waiting and a partially filled restaurant, no one approached the table. I stroll to the host stand and ask for a server. A couple of minutes later a young lady approached the table and asked if we’d like anything to drink. We asked what draft IPA was as the Happy Hour menu listed draft beers at $4 each. The server told us she didn’t know: it was the regular one. No biggie. We just ordered anyway because the menu said draft beer was half off during happy hour. We also ordered a margarita which was tasteless. We asked for no salt, but salt was on the entire left side of the glass. I went back to the host stand to ask for a food menu since we still not given any. My guest ordered fish tacos, and I ordered the Birria taco entree. Aside from the presentation, the food was tasteless. There are no condiments available on the table to try and rectify the bland food. It was at this point that we season food with the salt for the margarita glass that we didn’t ask for. How disappointing. I have eaten at the other location on David Drive and had a much better experience. The food was seasoned better. The server asked if you’d like to look at the dessert menu and I said yes; two minutes later she came back with the check. She had already forgotten that she had yet to offer us dessert. I was clearly annoyed. I looked at the check and was charged full price for the draft beer that was listed as happy hour. I questioned the charge and the floor manager came over with the drink menu in his hand. As he started to inform me that I was wrong about what I read on the happy hour menu, I just simply handed over my card for payment as I was totally frustrated. Judith Location I doubt this restaurant makes it past the empty streets of the heated summer of New Orleans. Overpriced and under trained staff. Problem resolution awful. Diners in New Orleans deserve better.

We arrived at the restaurant a little late, but they were very nice and pleasant. All of the food was delicious. Our waitress there was a little language barrier, but we work through it. Everything was great and I will definitely be going back.

The tacos were good. The ambiance is great until the birthday celebrations start. It is loud and very distracting which is fine the first time but gets a little old when they do it over and over. My biggest complaint is that they charge five dollars for a very tiny container of salsa after the first one. Superior Grill has better salsa and it is unlimited. Also when you order the tacos you have to get three of the same taco. You are not allowed to have a combination of different tacos. Small complaint but annoying.
