Tadich is a long-time SF institution for good reason. The food is terrific; our server was fun and provided good service. Our reservation was for two, but when a third arrived with us, they accommodated us and found a larger table. I have a severe hearing loss and would prefer a little quieter, but I managed, and there are certainly noisier restaurants.

Food and service were outstanding. We shared the warm marinated olives, Boston clam chowder and the prawn sauté. The chowder was totally full of clams and delicious. The prawn sauté was incredible and almost more prawns than we could eat. Will be back the next time we’re in SF.

We had lunch on a weekday. It was wonderful. We've been coming to Tadich Grill from the north bay for more than 50 years, and it's always a terrific great. It doesn't change. We both had grilled fish. The straightforward dishes, like mesquite grilled fresh fish, are the best. Our server was among the best I've ever experienced. This is a well run restaurant. The interior is old and casually elegant, with white table clothes

Sand dabs, if available, or petrale sole. With a Caesar and a glass of Chardonnay (or Macallan’s 12).

After a couple of trips to San Francisco, finally made it to the Taddich Grill. Service a little slow at the beginning, but once the food started arriving, it got better and better. A delicious crab cake, the sole filets -one grilled and one pan fried- very fresh and clean tasting, and although not a “soup” guy, I really enjoyed the Cioppinos. Ambience a little noisy and dimly lit but part of the old school charm. Truly a great dinning experience

Wonderful fun evening at Tadich Grill. The food is very good, traditional fair and generous portions. Old school attentive service and overall a great experience to enjoy San Francisco as a resident entertaining visitors.
