   Enjoyable late-night meal with family & friends. The food has yet to disappoint, the only small concern was that our waitress was not visible. We had to wait quite a bit to place new orders and when one of them was not what we wanted, we ended simply consuming it since it took so long before our waitress made a “check stop”. Other than that, we had a pleasant evening.

   Excellent as always. Takato keeps on delivering a great experience. Try the sushi ice cream roll for dessert. Amazing.

   Great testing sushi and Korean style tapas. Loved the bao buns!!! The waitress was awesome and all her recommendations were delicious. She had the sommelier come over and he suggested the perfect wine based on our taste. would definitely go back.

   Decided to check it out after so many good reports and even write ups in local and national magazines, just didn't live up to the hype, for us. We were expecting a fine dining experience, with all the bells and whistles of fine dining, but alas, no. We were seated outside, which was fine but very loud. Street noise, I get, but the booming base of EDM music, was a bit too Miami for us, and for our expectation of fine dining in general. I should have gotten the hint that it wasn't fine dining when I got the cocktail menu and it had cartoon pictures of the drinks and the food menu was laminated. But alas, soldiered on. I was going to get the Chef's choice nigiri but when I found out it didn't include any of the specialty nigiri, I let the server know I'd need more time to decide. My husband had already told him he wanted sushi for an appetizer and shrimp fried rice for his main. Instead of waiting for me to order, he put his order in, then came back and took my order. I wasn't one sip into my cocktail before his shrimp fried rice came (his main) then after he had started eating that so it wouldn't get cold, the sushi came. Meanwhile, I haven't finished my cocktail AND have no food. My appetizer came out, which was fine, but I question anyone who thinks they need to deep fry lobster...but ok. My main came out and was lobster udon. It said on the menu lobster and parmesean, my bad for not asking, but I was expecting traditional udon dish with a kakejiru broth, it was literally lobster macaroni and cheese but with udon noodles. I had a couple of bites, it was fine for lobster mac and cheese, but way heavier that what I wanted and my husband was long done eating so just packed it up to go. For the price we paid and the expectation of a fine dining experience, just didn't live up to the hype. Glad we went to check it out, don't need to go back again.

   Everything we ordered was fantastic - spicy edamame, tuna roll, yellowtail roll, chicken fried rice (wow), skirt steak and sushi ice cream (good gawd)! Our waiter was also exceptional! Will be back next weekend!

    Helen the manager is INCREDIBLE! Will and Jondre at the bar are always on their game, providing excellent service! The food is the best in Fort Lauderdale. 10/10 recommend!
