   Dining at the Old Talbot Tavern was a treat! We had a very competent and friendly server. Food was perfectly prepared and served hot. Ambience was good if a bit noisy. Overall a very pleasant experience. I plan to return in the future.

   A nice dinner in a very historical building. Great location and food was very good. If you are in Bardstown, it’s worth a stop.

   Lovely atmosphere. The Walnut Encrusted Chicken and the Burgoo was really good, but the Fried Catfish absolutely rocked!!

   We all had great meals and the waiter was wonderful. We like that the nearby music wasn’t too loud also.

   We loved this historic inn! The food was okay. I got the pork and it was very good. The green beans were very, very sad! Probably canned but cooked to death! Our server Kennedy was delightful, though! We also stayed overnight - such a cute, historic room. Would love to come here again!

   We all enjoyed our meals which were delicious. Nice variety of cocktails and the desserts were delicious.

   We made a few special requests and they were able to accommodate all of theme. Truly fantastic food, ambience and service!

   Been to Bardstown twice. Visited Talbott Tavern the first time and just had to go there a second time! The venue reeks of history and features the world’s oldest bourbon bar. SO many bourbons. SO little time! I’d highly recommend the Talbott Tavern experience.

    Great historic place, but the environment is not quiet. It's relaxed, nothing too fancy, good food. Service was good as well.
