The menu at Talea – “Cucina di Famiglia” which means family-style cuisine – draws on Guida’s distinctive culinary alchemy and interpretation of classical dishes that are traditionally known and cherished by many households across Italy.

From its famed ravioli, handcrafted carbonara and other pasta to artisanal pizza, the freshest salads and antipasti, creamy and irresistible burrata, ossobuco – stewed veal shanks in meat sauce, and vitello tonnato – the summer dish of chilled veal in tuna-caper sauce that forms an indispensable part of the Assumption Day feast in Milan, the gastronomic delights of Talea fuse the traditional techniques of Milanese classics with an innovative edge to present a tantalising interpretation that is the signature trademark of Guida.

We are guests at the hotel and booked a table for 4 at 6pm, we asked for a window view but was told they were all booked , we sat for 2 hours being the only people in the restaurant !! Also the second glass of wine was not a full measure and when questioned we was put straight in no uncertain terms it was a full measure . Not sure we will be returning during our stay

What a great place for dinner. The setting is perfect sat out on the terrace with the warm evening breeze blowing in. The service was warm and welcoming and the food was first class. A perfect evening!

Poor , ordered plain spaghetti for my 4 year old and got charged 150aed for a super small bowl of plain spaghetti, what a joke... Brought one of the starters with the prawns missing and still charged full price for it...this place thinks it is something it isn't...
