   My boyfriend and I loved TAMA. We started with the froccia bread and truffle ice cream—couldn’t believe it was actually ice cream. It was something totally new to us and honestly, it was bomb. Then came the mussels (10/10), and the short rib with orzo—fall-off-the-bone amazing. We were talked into trying the oyster mushrooms and ended up loving them. The patatas bravas were perfectly golden and tossed in the most mouthwatering sauce. Our server, a sweet Greek woman (wish I remembered her name), surprised us with a glass of champagne to toast our anniversary—such a thoughtful touch. She even introduced us to the owner, I think her name is Anaglista? (Definitely spelling that wrong.) She has a beautiful Greek name and the warmest energy. You can just tell how much she cares about her restaurant and the people she’s serving. Truly a real one.

   Delicious lunch - carpaccio, mussels and pork ramen, followed by that amazing cheesecake. Chef and staff were so friendly and fun to talk with.

   Wow!!!! Every plate has incredible flavor, we wanted to order the whole menu! Counter seats are wonderful, what an experience! Thank you for making our night so excellent! Can’t wait to go back!!!!!! Sooooo goooooood!

   Tama is a fun place with delicious food. Every dish we have had there has been excellent and innovative. There is very nice art on the walls that was created by the chef-owner. The staff is great and very welcoming. This is now one of our favorite spots.

   We will be back! Quickly vaulted into one of our favorite Mediterranean restaurants in the city. Oyster mushrooms and fried potatoes were amazing. Can’t wait to try other dishes!

   Nice looking restaurant, staff extremely friendly, appetizers were very good, entrees were just okay, we felt like they were lacking flavor and portion sizes are extremely small, the size of the entrees are pricey especially for what they serve you. Hope they can make adjustments in that area.

   I had been following Tama for a while on Instagram and finally decided to try it for a date night. We were met with loud club like music ( which we didn't mind at all) and open kitchen (which I loved). The service was great, prompt and friendly and they even accommodated a last minute reservation change request. The wine I had was good ( limited selection of Greek wines) and my partners cocktail was good as well. Now onto the food--tasted fabulous! We enjoyed the beet salad, scallops, agnolotti, and cheesecake. Tama has a "sharing" menu which I have noticed is very popular these days. The beet salad was enough for two, we cleared the plate in about 10 seconds. However, the "large" shares were not that big. The scallop dish, while delicious only had three small bay scallops (far to small to be sea)-not enough to share at all. My partner ate his pasta in the blink of an eye. We had plenty of room for dessert so we got the cheesecake--which was the best serving size of food we got all night. For the first time in my life--I left a restaurant hungry. We could have easily gotten two more dishes to fill us up but at that point our bill was about $140 and didn't feel like spending much more. My only critique would be either up the serving size a little bit on the larger shares or reconsider the price point. I can't wait to come back to see what seasonal items they come up with for the spring/summer.!
