   We really enjoy the food at Tamarindo and the staff has always been excellent. It's a fun evening to get gelato next door after too.

   Service was great. Not many vegetarian choices on the menu, except for salad and zucchini tacos. Zucchini is deep fried, tasted oily. Food did not have authentic flavors.

   Our server, Sasha, was amazing and gave us the best table in the restaurant. Our meal was absolutely delicious and we finished it within minutes of receiving it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Del Mar!

   Great meal in a really lively and nice setting. Drinks were good and our meals were all delicious - fish tacos, carne asada plate, carne asada tacos. Fun spot!

   5 women for lunch. Absolutely no complaints. Service was great. Our waitress did not get exasperated with 5 older women and their requests. Food was delicious. It was a quiet day at the restaurant so noise level was perfect for us.

   This is one of our favorite local restaurants for a number of reasons. The food is delicious--we had the grilled chicken tacos, the carne asada tacos, and the caesar salad this time--and the service is friendly and casual, but attentive. We also love the mole and the elote. We can bring our dog and she is welcomed and there's a special menu for her--she looks forward to the Ruckus Special and now even recognizes the restaurant as we approach it. This is our go-to place to bring out-of-town guests for creative Mexican food and a fun atmosphere in the heart of Del Mar. Grateful we have a place that is consistently good--we'll be back again soon!

   We love Tamarindo! It is consistently a great experience! We love the outdoor seating, especially at the fire tables. The food is excellent. The staff is always positive, welcoming,and attentive!
