A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Tapas, & Friends. Influenced by the culture of sip-a-little-bit-of-this-and-eat-a-little-bit-of-that, Tapavino began in August 2012 as Australia’s first Sherry Bar in Sydney, in a little lane-way not unlike something you would find in the cobblestoned alleyways of Spain. Helped by the beautiful warm vibe that greets you as you step inside and take a seat among floor-to-ceiling wine bottles, Tapavino was named runner-up in Sydney Morning Herald's 'Best New Bar' Awards within 4-months of opening. 12-months later we were named 'Best Bar with Food'.

We open 5.00pm and there will be two sittings on NYE. Minimum spend $105 pp Children under 10 $55 pp Early bookings must vacate the restaurant at 8.00pm 2nd Sitting starts at 8:15pm, last drinks at 10.30pm Tables of 8 people and over must go on the Christmas Function menu along with terms & conditions. 10% Service charge is applied to the total bill for all patrons on the evening of 31st December 2024 All Cancellations less than 48 hours will be charged $105pp

    The staff were extremely helpful and flexible as to what our table of 9 people could choose from the menu, and they did not force us to take the set menu option. This was very helpful as many people had not been to Tapavino before and wanted to try a number of menu items which were all outstanding. Could not recommend Tapavino more highly to others.

    Amazing food. So fresh and tasty. Wish the empanadas were still on the menu though. Brought two friends along and they were very impressed.

    We ordered a selection of share plates and everything was delicious. Even though we had eaten plenty of food we couldn’t resist sharing a selection of desserts, they all sounded so good - and they were! Juan the waiter was very professional. A great atmosphere and we’ll be back!

    Excellent food wine & service. We were in Sydney for a few days following our cruise and chose Tapavino for dinner. From start to finish we had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious Definitely 5*
