Mark has won five Emmy Award’s as the host of AZ PBS’s “Plate and Pour” and “Check, Please!     My wife and I sat at the bar and enjoyed amazing wine and appetizers. Our bartender, Kai, couldn’t have been more delightful. Like Tarbell’s Tavern, it’s a bonus to be able to reserve seats at the bar.

    We had another fabulous meat at Tarbell's. The food is creative and delicious. We sat outside with warmers that kept up comfortable but were not too hot. Server was knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. Highly recommend.

    Perfect as usual. From cocktails to shared plates to main courses and desserts, everything was delicious. We were a larger group (7) and everyone was thrilled with their choices. Excellent service as always.

    We sat outside on Christmas Eve and were placed at a rather forgotten table in a corner with no tablecloth. We thought we might be in for a bad evening, but we received exceptional service and superior food. The calamari appetizer is a destination dish. We will go back for that dish alone. The fish special was second to none. My wife enjoyed her wagyu beef tips. We had not been to Tarbells in over 20 years and we will go back (we will just makes sure we get a more pleasant table).

    A perfectly beautiful culinary Christmas Eve!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The mussels, calamari, scallops, and chicken fennel pasta last night were some of the best dishes I've ever had there. Overall the food was spot on, the staff are all marvelous and the ambiance is always right!
