This is my wife’s and my favorite place to go for date night and special occasions. The food and drinks are amazing and the service is always incredible. Our favorite place to go in San Antonio.

It had been a while since I went to Tardif's. I was completely underwhelmed the previous couple of times I had gone due to surly and inattentive bartenders and mediocre food. However, I heard that there was a menu re-vamp and a new GM so I decided to give it another try after a 6 or 9 month hiatus. I'm glad I did because it has definitely improved. The service was good and the food was good as well. The place seems to running a lot better than it was previously under the old GM. The menu is more expansive although I wish they would bring back the mustard ribeye (I forget the exact name they used to call it). For some reason that is no longer on the menu. In any case, I will definitely put this back into my rotation of restaurants.

Great experience celebrating birthday. The salmon appetizer was delicious. Short rib risotto and Morel Filet were both done perfectly and tasted great. The best part was the New York cheesecake, one of the best we've had. Juan Paolo's (spelling?) service was impeccable, and he recommended a superb bottle of wine. Would definitely dine here again for a special occasion.
