   Food was really good. Tasty. Nice menu selection. But the service was lousy. Took forever to place our order or get drinks refilled and the dinner was brought out with no silverware so we had to wait to eat once it came.

   Although we made reservations, we had to wait 20 minutes for our table. It was a very busy Valentine evening. However, Terrant's downtown is always a great place for a nice meal. The atmosphere is great, and the food and service were excellent. A nice little perk is that if you show them your parking receipt, they will deduct it from your check. This is definitely a great place for lunch or dinner.

   Wide variety of menu choices. Fish tacos are my personal favorite but the shecrab soup and pasta are excellent choices as well. And the house garlic bread is to die for.

   The service we received was awful. The server was clearly green and tried to cover up his mistakes with charm. I had the fried green tomato grilled cheese that had very little cheese and was very dry. The server talked us into the apple crisp dessert. Then he disappeared for about 1/2 hour while we waited. When we finally flagged him down, he said that the delay was due to the kitchen being back up. There were maybe 5 tables occupied. The dessert arrived 5 minutes later and was delicious. Honestly, it should have been comped. I worked in hospitality for years. The server should be taught the rule never to blame the kitchen for what was clearly his fault for not putting in the dessert order.

   Best pancakes I’ve had in forever. Chocolaty but not too sweet. Reasonable prices and good ambiance.

   Nice atmosphere and food was decent. A few items to note- they brought us two different menus, with one being "old" with items on it they no longer offer. Just took the old one and didn't bother bringing a replacement so we had to share the one menu. Food came so quickly that we were about half way through the apps when the mains arrived. Just made room on the table and left the mains without even acknowledging this issue. Tried ordering 2 different bottles of wine and they didn't have either- server never came back to tell us the first was not available- we had to flag her down to find out what was going on. Ordered another option which took a while to arrive, and then it was still not what we had ordered but a "replacement" to what was shown on the menu. Maybe better to stop offering wine by the bottle if not going to stock what's on the menu. And with the delays in getting the wine, we were essentially done eating by the time we had the wine. So while the food was decent, the experience was not relaxed. Not likely to rush back here anytime soon.

    Made the reservation for 4:30 to ensure we’d make the show at the Altria at 6:30. Did not get our food and had to leave. Terrible experience. You should be able to eat within 2 hours of your seating. Unfortunate experience.
