   There were a few flies inside that kept buzzing our table. That made the experience a little annoying. But, all in all everything was good.

   You can’t beat the convenience to the ACL LIVE theater across the street. And three of the four people in our party were very happy with the food. Salmon entrée, great, two red fish special entrée of the night, great. Margarita pizza, horrible, dry as hell.  The carpaccio appetizer was splendid and two desserts were well received. Outstanding service by Mrunal. Not crowded, not loud on the Sunday we were there.

   Our server Jordan was fabulous! It was a busy prom night but my friend and I didn’t feel any lack of attention! The times everything perfectly, and were great about our gluten allergy! The food is amazing and the service was top notch! They really made our night!

   Our servers Charles and Alyssa were outstanding - The Baci Room is the place to sit AND the food is always a good value - calamari the best !!

   We arrived early for our reservation and were seated right away. The food was great and the service excellent. Excellent location in Austin’s 2nd St. District.

   This biggest issue I had was the waiter kept giving us his opinion. When they were out of salmon, he returned to the table to inform my friend of the situation and recommended she have the gnocchi. I said, "Let's get her a menu and let her decide what she will have." He brought over a menu. She wanted a pasta with protein. I asked if shrimp could be added to a pasta dish. He said no, they were two separate dishes and then proceeded to give me his opinion again. I stopped him and stated, "I asked a question. I did not ask for your opinion." I would guestimate he gave us his opinion at least five times, unsolicited. That was a bit much and I was over it. The restaurant overall was very nice. The food was good with a good selection of menu items.

   Waited over an hour, food never showed up other than some bread. Were told by waitress she was holding our order to let us relax. Suspect order was never submitted until we complained. Gave her five minutes to grab our order. She came back ten minutes later and said it wiild be another ten or fifteen minutes. We paid for bread and dinks and left. We really liked Taverna. Have been going there for years. Unfortunate that the service has deteriorated to this level.

    Made a reservation online. Sat at the bar and visited with the nice bartender. Great food and drinks before a show next-door at ACL.
