We come to Teakwood when we have tickets to the SF Symphony. Jorge has been our server the past two times. He is charming. He is kind. He is good at his job. But all the staff are helpful and efficient. Our go-to meal is the tea leaf salad, fiery tofu dish, and whole branzino. The drinks are well made and the room has a nice vibe. Check it out.

Jorge, our waiter, was wonderful! He gave great recommendations for cocktails and food, and was very warm. The food was delicious and we loved the cocktails too - unique flavors that went so well together and paired nicely with the food.

I good part of the enjoyment of eating fermented tea salad is watching it being put together at the table. You no longer do this. Saving time? Waitstaff doesn’t know how to do it? Are you hoping people will stop ordering it because too labor intensive? Please bring back the tableside prep and toss.

Four stars very good fits perfectly for Teakwood. We've been Burma Love fans for years and Teakwood is a welcome addition to the Hayes Valley pre-event scene. Our server was very sweet, and while service overall was a bit disjointed, it was understandable. They handled the pre-theater rush well. The atmosphere is bright and lovely and the food was very good.

Had to wait for a table…a definite problem when you’re trying to get to the Symphony. Our meal came in bits and pieces and we weren’t able to enjoy it as a meal. When our second entree was delivered had to corral a waiter to bring the rice we ordered, etc, etc..,
