   This is my second time there. Our waiter seemed uninterested with us, but luckily the manager or owner took over and brought us that incredible experience. The original waiter didn’t make any recommendations, didn’t suggest portions sizes like when I’ve been there before. The manager/owner who took over was great when it came to the 20% gratuity fee to ensure we didn’t tip extra. The food is incredible, I love the atmosphere. I’ll bring people here, just hope the one waiter was having an off day.

   What a fabulous place! From the service, to the cocktails, to the tapas and dessert it was excellent. The sangria flight was a new twist. My only critique would be that they should not advertise scallops in the squid ink paella considering there were only 4 microscopic scallops.

   Saw the restaurant featured on "Check Please, Bay Area!" and thought it would be a really fun place to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. Unfortunately, we felt rushed by the lead server, atmosphere was somewhat underwhelming ( not as festive as it appeared on the show) but it was a Monday night, tapas were good, both the steak and shrimp paella were dry and over cooked. The servers did bring a small cupcake with a candle which was nice.

   We waited 20 minutes for drinks and an appetizer. Our server failed to tell us what was going on and we were getting ready to leave when the drinks appeared, so we stayed. Patatas Bravas were great, crab croquettes had little or no crab, shrimp were OK, and meatballs good not great. Prices seem high for what we got.

   We ordered 5 small plates, 1 main plates & 2 cocktails. With the 20% build-in gratuity, total came to $170. From the top, it took close to 10 minutes for our server to show up to greet our table. Service was courteous and attentive overall however; food was lackluster. Over-seasoned (salty) octopus and over-fried Schnitzel (hard hard crust and extra dry on the inside). Crab croquettes were all aioli no crab. Salmon was over-cooked and tasteless. Look like it was dunked in the deep fryer for too long. Tuna Taco and prawns in citrus sauce (oil?) were average. I recalled food quality and flavor at this location several years back were descent. No this time unfortunately.

   Not worth the high prices. We were a party of 5 and chose to select an assortment of tapas. Ordered tomato bread, grilled shrimp, burata salad, empanadas, crab tacos, meatballs and 5 drinks. $250. Although the drinks were delicious the food was mediocre at best. Food was very small portions. As an example, Tomato bread, we ordered 2 portions ($9 each portion) total 8 small (3x3 pieces) for $18!!! Empanadas had hardly any chicken filling. Most of them were more fried pastry than filling. Service was very slow. They did give us a complimentary dessert for a birthday celebration which we appreciated. Overall very disappointing for the value and the food taste.

   We did not feel the food was outstanding. The Empanadas were grossly underinflated, almost no chicken.
