   The food was pre prepared. Our experience last night 12/31/24 was MUCH DIFFERENT than it was our previous visit. We love the empanadas and had that as our appetizer. It was sopping in the sauces they put on it. Shells were died out and seemed like they tried to compensate with a lot of sauce. We ordered the chicken fajitas to split as our main entree, and the chicken was like jerky. Impossible to cut and biting into was like biting into jerky to chew. Chicken was dried out and over cooked like it had been sitting under the heating shelf for an extended amount of time. I know it was pre prepared as it came out no later than 3 minutes after we placed our order. Tortillas were very tough. We barely touched the fajitas. Server asked if we wanted a to-go box which we declined and then brought the chicken to his attention and he offered nothing to do about it. I understand it was New Year’s Eve and the restaurant was trying to provide quick service for table turnovers but the quality of our meal was very disappointing.

   Shrimp ceviche was cut into huge pieces that wouldn’t fit on a tortilla. Taco Birillia was terrible with a huge piece fatty tissue that was inedible. Great looking restaurant but does not deliver the goods.

   Stopped by for a early Sunday meal, restaurant was not busy. We were seated in the booth’s by the bar a nice a cozy spot. The service was lacking, we asked for a side of sour cream, was charged for it but never received it. We also asked for more flour tortillas it took 15 minutes to have them delivered to the table. This was our third time to visit and was disappointed, will rethink next time. It’s a shame hard to find good food and service at one place.

   I like Tequila Chulos but last time I went I sat in one of their booths for the first time. The booths are awkwardly tall - like they are pub or counter height but there is no place to rest your foot on a rail or anything. I’m 5’10” and my feet could barely reach the floor so nearly any woman is out of luck. Pretty big oversight.

   Great atmosphere and the best beef fajitas I’ve had in many years. One of the only places to get real Tex-mex queso in Oklahoma. Finally a Mexican restaurant worthy of date night or meeting friends out for a nice dinner in OKC.

   This was the first time I've visited this establishment. I ordered the beef enchiladas and my friend ordered the chicken and spinach enchiladas and they were ok. I wish the food came out hotter than it did. It was as if the food was sitting for about 10 minutes and then they put it on an oven hot plate and served it. That's why I gave them 4 stars. It's a nice restaurant and I'm willing to give them another try.

   Very enjoyable experience for our first time at Tequila Chulos. Food was great as well as service. Loved the atmosphere and vibe. We will definitely be back soon!

    The food was delicious. The menu has a varied selection which is always appreciated. However, more training would be helpful. It was too cold outside to be seated next to garage doors especially when restaurant wasn’t crowded and tables in the middle of the room were empty. I ate dinner with my coat on and I am far from cold natured. We got our food before I got the drink that was ordered first and I had to ask a second time to get limes for my drink. My shot of tequila wasn’t a full shot.
