Tequilas

Tequila is distilled from the heart (Pina) of the blue agave plant. Agaves harvested in the highlands have a citrusy, fruity, sweet aroma and taste, whereas agaves harvested in the lowlands are grassy, herbaceous and peppery. With the exclusion of blanco, tequilas are generally aged in oak barrels. All our tequilas are 100% agave except for mixto and flavoured. Tequila served in either: Shot Glass, Bandera (with lime juice and sangria), Margarita 13 min, Tequila Sipping Glass. Types:

• Blanco

  A white spirit usually un-aged or aged for up to 2 months

• Reposado

  Slightly golden spirit, aged between 2 months and 1 year in oak barrels

• Añejo

  Caramel colored spirit, aged at least for 1 year and not more than 3 years

• Extra Añejo

  Exceptionally smooth, aged in oak barrels for more than 3 years

• Mixto

  No less than 51% agave fermented with natural cane
