The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too!

We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad.

Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.

We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).

Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.

Last orders at 3.30pm for food.

You can choose from the usual hearty breakfast classics, plus a few unusual breakfast twists for this time of the morning – the Breakfast Stack, for example, is just divine and enough to delight your tummy. All of our breakfast ingredients are freshly sourced as locally as possible – the sausages and bacon, in particular, are cured specifically for the 1867 guests. Complete your Breakfast Experience with our renowned COFFEE and large variety of specialist teas. Lovely people. Superb food which is good value for money. The staff are the best I have had the pleasure to deal with. Both the manager SJ and the wonderful Jackie make a real effort to make you welcome. We had a marvellous afternoon T. Beautifully presented and delicious! The environment is really nice. A lovely covered patio for warmer days and the inside is nice and toasty in the winter. The staff boxed up all the wonderful sweet things that we couldn’t get through to take home. They are licensed which is nice if you fancy wine with your meal etc. I would always pick this place first to eat in the daytime. Well done all you lovely people.

I took my mum for her birthday. We enjoyed the food and The staff were lovely, we had a ballon on the table for her when we arrived which was a lovely touch. We would definitely go again.

We had a combined Wedding Anniversary /Valentines Day afternoon tea. It was superb from start to finish. All the staff were helpful and attentive, particularly Jackie who was welcoming and friendly throughout. The food and drink was very tasty and attractively presented, so were the table decorations.
