Great location. Lovely food and good portions. Excellent service and nothing to much to make a visit a worth while. Go and see for yourself and enjoy.

Excellent food, attentive staff, all in a lovely building with good views usually available. Parking usually not far away too.

We went for Sunday lunch. I had a roast which I can only describe as sumptuous and my friend had fish and chips with macaroni cheese on the side! The fish was so beautifully fresh. Very impressive.

Booking was simple. Table was ready on arrival for the 6 of us. Staff were attentive and helpful. Food (we chose the roast) was plentiful and hot - added bonus of unlimited potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Desserts were great and good choice. Overall a really good experience and we will be back.

Was very quiet for a Sunday lunchtime. Hadn't realised we would need to order and go to the bar to pay before receiving our food. Plenty of food, could possibly have been hotter. Only appeared to be a couple of staff on duty.

We booked for dinner on a weekday. The menu was good but service was a bit slow. The team were understaffed. The food took time to arrive and was okay but nothing to shout about. Think this is a pub first and restaurant second
