   Our second visit to Aperture was a wonderful evening. The food is creative, with unknown spices that create a symphony of delight in your mouth. Our first visit, shortly after they had opened had a similar experience with the menu, but the noise level was so loud we could not converse at our table. When asked about our experience by the manager, we mentioned how much we enjoyed the food, but the noise level was too great to think about coming back. He mentioned they were aware of that and had hired an acoustical engineer to resolve the issue. What efforts they have taken to mitigate the sound issue have been successful. While not a quiet restaurant, which is not the intent, the overall noise level at a peak time in a Saturday evening added to the ambiance versus detracting. Go to Aperture. The food is world class, service impeccable, a true enjoyable culinary experience.

   Had a girls date and we ordered from every section on the menu with cocktails. Enjoyed it all and especially the window seats with like our own nook to catch up all while enjoying our shared meal. Top tier and the ambience was beautiful and energetic.

   The food, the vibe and the service are all impeccable. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the only thing that surpassed it was the food. Our group also had a vegetarian and there were no issues with finding delicious food for everyone. Our group got the hummus, carrots and sweet potatoes to share (all are MUSTS!) and then each person got a pasta for themselves. It was all so so good. There is a reason why this restaurant is getting national attention and is a must-go to!

   Hummus and pita, sweet potato, pasta, and charred carrots were great! I could eat the sweet potatoes every day. Unfortunately the lamb was dry, as were the two desserts we had (marittozo and spicy cornbread). Service was great.

   Second time coming to Aperture and it did not disappoint. It has earned its ranking as the best new restaurant in town. Started off with the spicer humus, it was good, could have been a bit spicer and the pita was very fresh and delicious. The vegetable course ALWAYS steals the show here. The sweet potato is a best dish in Cincinnati. It’s just a beautiful combination and the only thing I ever hate about it is that I ordered just one. Such an amazing balance and so perfect. We also had the mushroom which was also excellent and so meaty. Really enjoyed it. For entrees we got the Lamb and the Pork belly. Both very, very good. The lamb was extremely tender and flavorful although they got a little too excited with the mint. Had to scrap that off a bit to tone it down. The pork belly was crisp and flavorful. Way too full for dessert. The wine was average. Way marked up, but good. Really enjoyed our meal and look forward to going back!!!

   Do not book the last two (or three) reservation slots of the day. Unwelcoming, they will rush you out

    Outstanding service with food and drink that both show high levels of skill and creativity in their preparation. And darned tasty too!
