   Hi, the service was fantastic and the table by the fireplace very romantic for Valentines.\ The steak was good, the baked potato under done and barely warm enough to melt butter. The chef fries were a disappointment, the mushrooms very good. All in all not worth the price

   We had a great Valentine’s Day meal at Barrington Steakhouse. Delicious cocktails, appetizer and of course the steak. Great service as always!

   Amazing birthday celebration here. The Salmon and Baron Rib Eye were exquisite. Great sides as well, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our server Gaitan made it an even better night with his friendly and efficient service. We'll be back!

   Experience for the four of us was mixed. The tenderloin was superior, but the chef missed the mark when it came to preparing and cooking the rib dish. It was a pork cut of beef, and appeared to have been roasted for 30 minutes instead of slow cooked for eight hours, as it should’ve been. I expected to fall off the bone rib dish but was not delivered.

   This was our second visit to Barrington Steakhouse. Although we both agree it differed from our first experience in a number of ways, it was still as equally delightful. The steak was absolutely incredible. I paired mine with the Risotto and it was so good, I lost half of it to my date. We made the bartender/server work extra with making special cocktails each time based on our likes. And they were also each unique and delicious. We left full and content with yes another amazing experience. Look forward to a future celebration that brings us back.

   I’ve visited this establishment several times over the years, and unfortunately, each visit has felt less like a true steakhouse experience and more like an average restaurant. While the steaks are consistently cooked to the correct temperature, the quality and portion sizes have noticeably declined. The charcuterie board, which used to be more generous, now feels sparse. The carrots we ordered were severely undercooked—so firm they seemed freshly pulled from the ground. While I appreciate a firm vegetable, this was well below expectations. Service was another letdown. At a steakhouse, I anticipate thoughtful explanations or suggestions from the server, but nothing of the sort was offered. Additionally, the seating arrangement left much to be desired. Instead of the cozy, upscale steakhouse atmosphere I’d experienced in the past, we were seated by the glass windows on high chairs, which felt out of place compared to the intimate setting upstairs I’d enjoyed on prior visits. For those seeking a great steak with better service and value, I’d recommend trying Mic Mac Tavern instead. It offers a consistently excellent experience at a reasonable price.
