   As you enter, you’re greeted as if you’re entering a book store/library. It’s hard to find the bathroom because they look like cool book shelves with boxes of category cards (what we used pre computers for the younger generations). The menu has so many great choices. The food was delicious and our waiter Sean was attentive, friendly & welcoming. It was my first time there but not my last.

   The food and service were excellent. However, the tables are pretty close and many people apparently don’t know how to use their indoor voices. The waitstaff totally understood that we were sitting between 3 tables of people who were extremely loud and moved us to the bar where we had a wonderful meal. I would definitely go back.

   We came here for my friend’s birthday and everything was excellent. I had seafood with pasta and it was delicious. The service was great. The waitress was very friendly and kept checking up on us. Everyone liked their meals. It is a great place to go before a show at the St. George Theatre

   Went to The Basement for the first time last night and really enjoyed our experience! The meal was excellent and the atmosphere was super cool. Our family really enjoyed.
