    We had the absolute pleasure of dining at The Bison Restaurant and Terrace in Banff for our 23rd anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The staff made our special evening even more memorable by surprising us with complimentary bubbles to toast our milestone. It was such a kind and personal touch that truly meant a lot. The cocktails were outstanding — the floral gin and tonic was beautifully balanced and refreshing, while the Bison Old Fashioned was rich, smooth, and expertly crafted. For our meal, we opted for the cheeseburger and fries, and they were absolutely delicious. Simple comfort food elevated with incredible flavor and care. The atmosphere was cozy yet upscale, with a stunning view and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Every detail of our experience was top-notch. We can’t recommend The Bison highly enough — it’s a must-visit in Banff, whether you’re celebrating something special or just treating yourself you an unforgettable meal.

    Absolutely amazing service and food!!!! We were celebrating our engagement at Bison and they were amazing. Made us feel so special with our big news! But the best part was the food! The Buffalo mozzarella can go toe to toe with any we’ve had in Italy. But the duck my fiancée got was better than Michelin star restaurants we’ve been to in Toronto! The bison short rib was also unreal, but for anyone going please do not miss the duck. Huge emphasis on local ingredients and it really shows in the food. By far and away the best restaurant in Banff

    Would absolutely recommend The Bison to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience. Our server Guy was super friendly and we had a great conversation. The food was outstanding and beyond compare.

    The service and bar staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were so impressed with their knowledge of the menu and attentiveness to us, we felt like we were the only couple in the building. It was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had.

    bison tartar and escargot was so good, prawn lettuce was not worth. tomahawk was also good but pricey of course. also liked the duck and crispy chicken. best if you can go with a big group and try everything. smaller portions on some of the stuff tho so kind of pricey
