   We liked the place. It is reminiscent of Blue Martini days (if anybody remembers that). The people were more pleasant and the location is sweet.

   Although the mail was good, and our server was prompted with our request, the dining area was a little warm for my liking due to someone deciding to open all the windows and doors.

   Horribly disappointed in this experience. 20% gratuity automatically is a joke especially when the service is subpar. It was my wife’s birthday and they didn’t even go out of their way to make it a special evening.

   When we first walked in for a early reservation, the noise level was perfect. However, after 8 o’clock, wherever the DJ was, which was not on the stage, the restaurant became very loud and hard to hear yourself talk. Our server Stephen was very nice and always helpful with whatever our needs wereoverall the ambience was good and the food was very good. We had the oysters to start and they were large, sweet and excellent and very reasonable. I would definitely go back there again Elita G.

   Enjoyable meal, but very, very loud in the evenings with a loud DJ and a loud band. It would be helpful for out-of-town guest that don’t know your restaurants protocol for that to be mentioned on the website in the description.

   No hostess to greet us. Had to wait, then had to wait to be seated because they didn’t have any dinner menus. But….. the food was delicious!

   I'm curious about Blue Dog's vision. With its small bespoke menu using poor-quality paper, it’s a bit unclear whether it’s a restaurant, a bar, or a tapas place. Personally, I was hoping for more of a restaurant experience. The bread served at the table was overbaked and looked old, which detracted from the meal. While the service staff was attentive, they felt a bit overly enthusiastic, as if they were trying to impress a little too much. I noticed that the outside bar was quite busy, but the inside restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, especially given its location next to the Town Center Mall. Previous safety concerns may have affected patronage, or maybe this will be another restaurant falling to the Florida restaurant curse. Additionally, I found the pricing to be on the high side. Paying $32 for four scallops and a small serving of risotto, along with a Long Island iced tea and sparkling water, led to a bill of $70 after tip felt a bit excessive. I believe with some adjustments, Blue Dog could enhance its dining experience and attract more guests. I suggest they rethink the quality of the menu and, other than a wine menu, have a drink suggestions menu. But, they need to come up with something as a space of that size being empty on a Friday night is costing them a fortune.

   Went there with a friend. Restaurant not busy at all. Bartenders were great at bar where we had a drink before we went to our table. I made a reservation by the way, but one party was slightly late. We both had an entree and a drink and coffee. Too bad it appears they charged us an undisclosed service charge and we left a tip after flagging down server to leave. So apparently we tipped twice unfortunately was tired. While some may argue we should have caught after a long day and nice dinner, we did not. I realize after getting home how could that be a nearly $200 tab. After getting home, I was thinking how what we have ordered then what it was and I added everything up because it was only a few things and I got nowhere near what the bill was. That’s when I realized there must’ve been a service charge. There was a line item at the bottom. Server should tell you as well as it should be on the menu. No wonder you don’t have to sign the receipt. Disappointing as read some reviews mentioning a service charge before writing this review. Food was ok. I’d go for drinks as place ambience is good. My advice is watch your bill. where we had a drink before we went to our table. I made a reservation by the way, but one party was slightly late. my rating represents the issue with the service charge server should’ve told us about it so I could’ve disputed it at the time if I hadn’t caught it after being there a couple hours it should’ve been on the menu and as a result that dinner was not a $200 dinner before the additional tip we left in error. Did I mention you we were a party of two?

   Went on ladies night . Truly appreciated the feee drinks. The food was good . Steak specials awesome. It’s a nice place. The Dj not so much. They had 2 dj’s first one mixed It it up it was good. 2nd one a female she did not mix it up. It was house music all night. If you are into that you would love it. I can only take so much.     have been there a few times and the food is what keeps us coming back. Last night was no exception. The octopus entre was excellent and the mushroom/truffle app was also delightful. Will keep coming back
