   Meal took ages. Than 1 meal was missing. Which was replaced with a quick meal for free . Table staff were excellent and friendly. I won’t be going back any time soon.

   Roast dinners were delicious but I’ve desserts were questionable with under cooked crumble and cold Crème Brulee. The main reason for a low score is due to service. The staff are not attentive, got our order wrong several times, seemed annoyed if we asked for anything and over charged us. Staff definitely let the place down!

   We have always had a great meal here and the service has been lovely. Summer in the garden is fabulous! Good food!

   Our first time at The Boars, we were not disappointed. The service was great, all happy and attentive staff, food was delicious and plentiful. We would certainly recommend and return.

   Been four times previously and ate from the main menu or had a Sunday roast. All have been great tasting and enjoyable. Last night's Valentine meal wasn't up to the usual standards across the board.

   Have eaten before at the Boars and both food and service usually excellent. However, this time, whilst the majority of the meal was good, the main consisting of steak was very fatty and had to leave most of it. That said every restaurant can have a bad night. We will eat there again… service is always good and love the Pub itself. Great location, lovely ambiance.

   The deal is quite good , but the price of the drinks are outrageous, £9.35 for a glass of red wine come on.
