   Our "go to" to satisfy a seafood craving!! Icy cold beer on tap. Table overlooking the water. Impromptu lunch date with my husband on the way back from the south coast. Scallops melt in the mouth. Flathead fresh and the batter so light and crispy. Will definitely return again and again.

   We were very disappointed with our meal here. While the service from our waiter was good & prompt the food was of poor standard. I had the fish burger & my partner had the fish & chips. The fish burger did not taste good at all and unfortunately I could hardly eat it, I'm not sure if it was the fish or the combination of sauces or toppings that did not taste good. The chips we both got were soggy. The fish my partner got was big & tasty. It's such a shame that the standard of food here isn't better considering the lovely location. Unfortunately we wouldn't be enticed to return for diner or recommend to friends for diner.

   We usually like the Boatshed. Great location and food usually good. Tonight was bad. We went with another couple who all enjoyed their meals which was why I chose not to say anything about my meal. I ordered the cream prawn linguine. The dish was presented well though I personally feel that prawns should be served without heads and tails when served in a pasta dish. The problem was the prawns. They were so overcooked they tasted acrid, almost like iron ( or the pan they were cooked in) The taste permeated the whole meal and left me with this taste long after the meal ended. Poor. I would never order the prawns again. We will stick with getting breakfast here.

   Tasty and fresh seafood, high quality ingredient We had pleasant experience, great location and atmosphere Prices are reasonable comparing to other seafood restaurants Seafood platter is highly recommended Excellent Customer services
