   Waitress was friendly and courteous. Food was fabulous. But the experience was disjointed. Service to get drinks, apps, food, checks was slow and labored. Almost 3 hours for dinner….. Yes we had a big party but we were the only table in the place for the majority of the night. Not sure the disconnect? Will try it again and hope for better timing!

   The lodge is lovely but short on waitstaff. Also the bright high hat lights takes away from the rustic lodge. More cafeteria like atmosphere. Food was average...salads were the best part. Bar room was nice as well as the outside winter ice carvings

   Nice, welcoming staff. Great service. Rustic atmosphere which could be made a tad more elegant for dinner, but overall a pleasant experience. Very good food and menu selection.

   Justin is THE best! There were a couple of kitchen errors but Justin was fantastic and resolved everything. Extremely professional and friendly!

   Our experience at The Brown Swan was excellent! It's beautiful. The service was excellent and staff was extremely friendly and personable. And the food was amazing! This is definitely a place we will recommend to others and we will definitely be returning .

   Dinner on NYE was a buffet that offered a wonderful variety across several stations, including one for the children. There were choices for every palate, and the food was delicious. The winter margarita was tasty, and the service was excellent.

   We enjoyed a Christmas Eve dinner at the Brown Swan. The outdoor area around the lodges was beautifully decorated, as well as inside of the restaurant. The service was great and the food was outstanding! Very reasonable prices! Highly recommend!

   We went for the prime rib special. Both parties that got prime rib, the meat was way under cooked. My brother got the pork dish and that was also not done. He had to send it back. The waiter was exceptional and did everything he could under the circumstances.

   Nice mountain resort feel to the restaurant. Service was good and professional. Food was excellent. Pricing a little high, but nice serving sizes to make up for it.

    We dined twice at the Brown Swan during our short stay at Schroon Lake and everything was wonderful! The manager was extremely helpful and professional and made rounds to make sure guests were satisfied with the food and service. The entire staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. This made it a perfect dining experience for us! I would definitely recommend the Brown Swan to anyone looking for a wonderful meal and quality service. We will be coming back!
