   The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant. However, the service we received was somewhat lacking. Despite my wife requesting water three times, it was only brought to our table after the third request. Additionally, the waitress failed to provide us with steak knives when our orders arrived. I had to specifically inquire about this and get up from seat to get the knives from the bar. Furthermore, we ordered the lobster mac & cheese from the menu, but it was unavailable. When questioned, the waitress simply stated that it was not available without providing further explanation. It was disappointing not to have a more positive dining experience, especially considering the favorable reviews. Moreover, there was no specialty cocktail menu available. On a positive note, we did enjoy our steaks, which were delicious.

   Outstanding meal at Butcher Bar! Fantastic service by Thierry with incredible cocktails and a great steak selection. Will definitely return - a hidden gem in Waikiki!

   The bone marrow burger is the best burger I have ever had!! The service is good and drinks are typical!

   The quality of food was well worth the price. Our server was very attentive and patient. Lobster Mac n Cheese balls, ahi nachos, and the bone marrow burger are worth coming back for. Only thing I’d change is asking for the fries to be more well done.

   Great food and good service. The dusk meal with the filet was really good. The 24 ounce ribeye was shared by two of us and it was delish. And the bone marrow burger is amazing and great price. They cook in tallow which is a plus for us—NO SEED OILS!

   Service was very slow. Took over 10 minutes to get water and that is after flagging down the waitress. Taking a while to get the food is understandable. Once my steak was received, had to then flag the waitress down again to ask for a steak knife. Food was ok. Very disappointed with my visit.

    Not a steakhouse and shows photos of dry aged tomahawks in a meat fridge that are not on the menu for butchers bar - we did not try Aloha so maybe that would have worked for us - but if you are looking for a steakhouse this butchers bar felt misrepresented
