Maybe best to book direct or reconfirm with the restaurant after booking. I had an O/T booking but arrived and was told they had nothing for me. I showed the confirmation and the host just dithered. I finally asked if they had a table, never mind the reservation, and after some more dithering he said it would be 30mins+ which was not convenient for me. Extremely disappointing because I was an in-house guest at the hotel, as well. I gave this low rating hoping one side or the other will fess up and sort it out between them because the O/T contact page has nowhere to send this type of complaint.

To those behind creating the menu: The vegan breakfast option was very poor in my opinion, hence the rating. Some potatoes,, overly salted mushroom and spinach, bread with no margarine or vegan butter on the side, chickpeas and avocado …sorry but it felt like an afterthought. The potatoes were blanddd, why not have some hash browns or the nice block fried potatoes that we’re offered for the non vegan breakfast? Some tofu scramble would be great, and fit the vibe of the restaurant and menu. The chickpeas, mushroom and spinach like i said had wayy to much salt, thats all I tasted. The chickpeas were bland also. IMO the latter shouldn’t be the main part of the breakfast. A vegan sausage or patty of some sort would be great. Basically more protein. Don’t get me wrong it was healthy. But the flavourssss where were the flavourssss. And for £16. Thats a rip off. For vegans I wouldn’t recommend. But the people on my table who ate meat and dairy thought theirs was good so I guess theres that. Also the mocha I had was sour tasting, maybe it was the beans? Unfortunate. Not trying to be rude or annoying but that brekky was upsetting and could be easily made better with some tweaks. Hope the upper management sees this to make a change because other than that the service and vibe was lovely.

Not a great experience. Had read some good reviews and had tried to go the day before but turned away as they were full. So we booked for the next day. The service is just not up to scratch for a restaurant in Belgravia (or anywhere really). The food was a mixed bag. Eggs benedict was good? Maybe 6.5/10. Scrambled eggs were overcooked (3/10). Shakshouka was very disappointing (2/10)- ordered the 2 extras: feta and sausage. The feta was added and made it look good and added flavour. But the sausage didn’t so we asked again. When it did, it was not the normal chorizo that gets added to these dishes but a normal English cumberland sausage. The dish was almost cold by the time it arrived. What irritated me most was the cold and arrogant service. Coffee was not good. They’ve never heard of a cortado or a piccolo. The place has potential but needs a lot of work, mainly with the service. Do yourself a favour and brave the cold to go the place across the road where the service is superb and the food and coffee even better. Their lines out the front don’t lie.
