With gorgeous rustic interiors and a stunning country garden, The Buttery has become a local institution in the heart of Belgravia perfect for breakfast, brunch, or just a slice of cake and a cup of tea. Featured in CN Traveller as one of London's top brunch spots, The Buttery is unique, fun and intimate. Our menus combine creative seasonal dishes with traditional favourites, using the very best of British ingredients.

Our food is unpretentious, fresh and beautifully served with super-friendly service. Our drinks hit the spot too, with the finest London-roasted coffee from The Gentlemen Baristas, classic cocktails and a carefully curated wine list featuring produce from some of the pre-eminent British vineyards.

    We had a booking at 12pm on a Saturday, they seemed really busy and we didn't get to sit down till after 1205pm. I ordered a coffee at 12.10pm, that didn't arrive till 12.30pm. The staff were lovely but I didn't enjoy having to wait so long for a coffee. The food was decent though! would definitely go back for the solid brunch.

    Excellent service - waiting staff could work at better establishments. Ambience - a bit ontop of each other indoors. Food: machine made hot chocolate for £4.25 was grim “Fresh orange juice” was pasteurised but staff were excellent in their attitude to taking it off the bill. Full English was very very average. Good eggs. Avocado breakfast dish was bland and poached eggs cold. Good for instagramers bad for foodies.

    As always the breakfast is fantastic! Consistency is key and the breakfast and coffee are truly exceptional every time we go. Nothing pretentious just great!

    This was such a lovely brunch! Food was delicious and portion size was great. The buttery has a lovely cosy vibe. I put in the booking note that it was my friend’s birthday and they have her a complimentary drink and slice of cake. Great service, would recommend!
