Busy day to be dining at the museum but Lily handled the crush well. Good service and cheeseburger and fries was just what we needed.

Thomas delivered incredible service and I was happy he suggested we get our Apple Peanut Brittle Pancakes as an appetizer.

Very slow getting the food out. Some of the food was not warm. The beans and greens had no flavor. The bocadillo was not good..

Nothing better than grabbing an excellent meal at the Cafe and then enjoying the many sights of the Carnegie museums. Service is friendly and efficient, even at their busiest times. We've enjoyed everything we've had on the unique and varied menu. Also appreciate being able to get a carafe of wine rather than a whole bottle.

On a rainy Sunday at 12:15 pm, we arrived on time for our reservation and were escorted to a table right next to the kitchen, alongside the bar. Despite the fact that other appropriate tables were available. We chose not to request a change. The cafe was definitely busy and quite loud. It took an exceptionally long time for our server to take our order. The volume of patrons kept staff hopping, so we certainly didn't have a hovering server. One of the three of us was served a bagel that was very hard but no one returned to see if everything was okay so we had to flag down a passing staff person. It was resolved quickly and apologies were offered. The rest of our meals were good, but I can't say that it was the experience we expected.

One of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. Food always fresh, flavorful, delicious, in a beautiful setting with amazing service and perfectly pulled espresso. General Manager Bekah gracefully sets the example for her staff and I always feel well taken care of. Servers Kristy and Tom always make my day when I get them! Great place for business lunch, even more fun with friends and a few craft cocktails.

Sunday brunch at the Cafe Carnegie is always a great start to a Carnegie Museum visit. The service, menu, and quality of the food is excellent. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and welcoming. The new seasonal menu offerings are always interesting. A special dish created by a regional guest chef is such a great idea. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing too - with meals provided without delay, and we were never rushed. Highly Recommended.

We ate on the patio with the fountain in the foreground. Lovely location, so relaxing. Our server was outstanding.

I had a fantastic experience at The Cafe Carnegie! I ordered a Taijin Bloody Mary from the bar which was absolutely perfect. We had the Deviled Eggs as an appetizer, the gravlax and crispy capers make for a delicious twist on the classic deviled egg preparation. For the main course I ordered the Parisian Gnocchi and my guest ordered the Chopped Chicken Salad. The gnocchi was bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection and my guest thoroughly enjoyed his salad. Our server Kristy was very attentive and accommodating. Her demeanor was pleasant and we felt valued and appreciated as customers. Menu prices were extremely reasonable and each dish had an elegant and artistic preparation that paired wonderfully with a day at the art museum. This was one of the best lunch spots I’ve encountered in the city and is absolutely worth checking out whether you are planning to visit the museum or not. All in all we had a near perfect experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in the Pittsburgh area.
