   Capital Grille he has become our family go to place for celebrations. Our recent visit was to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived, our table was nicely decorated and, has always been the case, there was a note to the celebrant from the restaurant... A very nice touch! The the food portions are generous and the preparation was perfect. The 10 ounce fillet was prepared as requested with a pink center and perfectly cooked. All other meal choices and the appetizers were we're deliciously prepared. Our server, Brandi, was cordial, informative about dinner selections and attentive. A chocolate martini that was ordered was delicious and prepared as requested, without chocolate syrup. Our special occasion was acknowledged with Brandi bringing us a complementary dessert and glasses of champagne. This is a restaurant that you don't need a special occasion to go to. Prices are appropriate so anytime you want a thoroughly enjoyable meal in a pleasing ambience, that won't disappoint, you should consider this as your destination.

   Service was superb! Alex was amazing! He catered to our every need! Please ask for Alex when you make a reservation. The food was so good. Great night for a Monday!

   Our dining experience (3 of us) was excellent. One hiccup was an order of the Kona T-bone came out more medium that the ordered medium rare. They took it back & returned in about 10 minutes with another steak. They asked her to cut it to make sure it was medium rare, which is was. The experience was above board because they also brought out another set of side dishes, which were hot. Our server was Sally S., who also was above board. She checked on us constantly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. It was North Shore Restaurant month so Capital Grille could have easily been average service, but they definitely were not! Two of us had ordered the filet and they came out perfectly. Going back for sure, even past Restaurant month!

   We celebrated my 53rd birthday with a party of seven, including both adults and kids, and had an incredible dining experience. Our server, Michael, was outstanding—truly elevating our dinner from good to exceptional. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely helpful during the ordering process. His recommendations were spot on, and at no point did we feel like he was just trying to upsell us. What stood out most was Michael’s ability to engage with everyone at our table. His friendly demeanor made each of us feel welcome and valued, adding a personal touch that made the night even more special. As expected, the food was delicious, served hot and in a timely manner. If you're dining at the Old Orchard location, I highly recommend requesting Michael as your server—you won’t be disappointed!

    We always eat in Capital Grill Old Orchard and we are always happy with the service and the food and a ambiance so I recommend to everybody. Service is good. Food is good. One of the best steakhouses in Chicago.
