The Captain's Table Restaurant received its name in honor of Newfoundland's greatest hero, Captain William Jackman, the great-great-grandfather of one of the Owners Melissa Jackman.

We are a family friendly sit down restaurant, and everything is cooked and prepared fresh to order with fresh ingredients. We do have take out available and a full gluten free menu including GF fish and chips! Open for breakfast on weekends, and a full outdoor seating deck for those sunny days!

    Been there a couple of times and everything on the menu is delish! Our favs are fish and chips and the hamburgers!

    It was amazing. The food was hot and fresh, the server was great. It was a little noisy due to a particularly large table in the back. But that is ok, they were just enjoying their meal. Definitely worth the 40 min drive from home. We will be back.

    I would rate the Captain’s table as just fine. The staff were fine, but indifferent, and the food was ok. Luckily, the prices were good. I was a little disappointed, tbh.

    Overall we had a good experience. The chicken dishes were cold and had to be sent back. I would recommend they invest in a warmer to keep plates warm and food hot. Our fish was delicious and would recommend that for sure.
