   The experience was wonderful, but it didn't start that way, and i nearly left before it started. When I first arrived, I was greeted by a less than friendly staff member. She acted like it was an inconvenience have to deal with me. I gave her my name and told her I had a reservation. She turned and said, "How about that high table in the bar?" . I politely told her I would like a standard table.... she very loudly huffed off and just left me awkwardly standing there. I was there long enough that I nearly walked back out. Eventually, a very friendly but professional lady approached me and asked if I had been helped. Without going into detail, I said, "Not really." She was wonderful. She guided me to a comfortable place to wait and shortly came to get me when a table was ready. She did a fantastic job of making me feel welcome and making sure things were good, even bringing a course or two herself. I wish I had gotten her name... she deserves recognition from higher management. My server was a delight. I believe she had already worked a long day and yet was happy to be there. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and interacted in a pleasant manner. I started with a cheese board. It was a great selection of items and well presented. The Pecan salad had great flavor and a generous serving size. I opted for the ribeye for a main course. It had great flavor and was cooked a perfect med/rare. I topped it off with the bread pudding. It was a great choice

   Went for their Christmas buffet. Was seated 15 mins after reservation time, mind you they forgot about us as we were waiting, plenty of empty tables, and the holiday buffet closed at 3:30. Seated at 3pm and buffet closed at 3:30. We only had 30 mins to eat. Food - hardly anything left. Everything was lukewarm. They ran out of shrimp cocktail within an hour or two of opening. No fruit, cakes for dessert, just cookies. They had no more short ribs, prime rib was cold, turkey was good. It just looked depressing.

   Very pleasant experience, food was excellent. The stairs between the seating and buffet lines are a hazard but manageable.

   Christmas buffet was great. Just my wife and I, and this was our first time here. Turkey, Prime Rib, salads, vegetables, cheese grits, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. Along with a spread of fresh fruit and bread pudding along with pecan pie and great cookies. Plenty of choices for even the pickiest of eaters!

   We had Christmas Brunch today and from the first greeting, through the buffet, until the end of the it was a wonderful experience. Mickelle our server was darling—personable, friendly, and immediately present when we need her. The food was beautifully prepared and presented in the buffet.

   Awesome food and perfect price point!! The service was excellent! I recommend the eggs Benedict for brunch and the cheese board!

   Had dinner with my sister who was a guest at the hotel adjacent. Staff was friendly but vacant. Dinner was ordered, served and while mine was fine, beef wellington ordered medium served rare, my sister's dish, grilled chicken over mashed potatoes was cold on delivery. After getting the waiter to bring back the potatoes to be heated properly she waited 20 minutes, and when nothing came back was furious with the service, had the food taken off the bill. She had been traveling all day and hadn't eaten so having this meal screwed up really got on her nerves.

    We had reservations yet waited 20 additional minutes for a table. When seated, we waited a ling time for someone to acknowledge our table. I asked the host to remind our waiter we needed water. Food was good, service could be better.
