   The ambiance is nice and the service was remarkable, but the food was not as good as I had anticipated. The Wellington was not as tender as I had in the past. I am comparing the Wellington to the chef Ramsey one but for the price it did not match it. The lamb was good but was a little too spice for my wife. Overall I don’t think I would come back because for the price I expected much more

   Fantastic place in Fort Worth. Something we’ve needed! Duro Hospitality is incredible and The Chumley House sure delivered. Steak and Lamb were amazing. Service was A+.

   It may take a week or two for a reservation but it’s worth the wait. 5 stars all the way around! Gem salad was the best ever, turbot was excellent and if you only order one thing —make sure it’s the sticky toffee pudding. Coffee was even perfect. Beautiful outside patio for warmer evenings.

   As most people have experienced, the food, service and decorations were superb, leading to an overall great experience. However, the place is small and as the crowds piled in, the ambiance became more hectic. This is a problem that probably will resolve itself after the novelty of the restaurant wears off. The loud contemporary music also added to the hectic atmosphere. My companion and I had the artichoke appetizer, the Turbot , the Tandoori Lamb, and the Indian style spinach with cheese. . All were delicious and spiced generously. The overall menu choices do not represent the more or less bland English contemporary style cooking but more of the British Empire's historic association with colonial India. A great addition to the ever more sophisticated Fort Worth restaurant collection. .
