   Food was cold but waitress took it back and was better the second time, staff were friendly and efficient. Been a few times but thought the standard of food wasn’t as good as usual, expensive for 4 bits of chicken, few chips and a thimble full of coleslaw.

   Fantastic food and excellent service. The ambience of the venue is lovely. It was a quiet night when we were in which is a shame. It’s really worth a visit!

   Slow service. Waited 25 minutes to order food and drinks. The food then arrived after our drinks. Our food was sent out to the wrong table so by the time we got it our steak was tepid. The fish was tasteless and batter really thick and greasy and the chilli chicken strips were rock hard.

   A very limited menu. We both ordered the Sunday roast which was good but the Turkey was a bit dry so I asked for extra gravy (I was charged £3 extra for this on the bill) it wasn’t very busy at all and the service was ok. We won’t be returning.

    We had starters and mains and all of us said how tasty and well presented the food was. Generous too. Staff were friendly and helpful even happy to alter a couple of things like changing vegan cheese for normal and mash potatoes for chips. Etc. Price point seemed fair and reasonable. Enjoyed the cool building too.
