   We had the Augustine stew and it was delicious. Also, the baked oysters was great.

   The food is delicious; the atmosphere is inviting, the service is great. This one of our favorite restaurants in all of Naples, as evidenced by the fact that the Claw Bar is where we came for our 50th Anniversary Celebration.

   Beyond awful service and undercooked fried oysters. We can’t recall a worse restaurant experience. Won’t be returning.

   Enjoyed our visit to the Claw Bar. We reserved a seat at the counter. Noise level was high as a result of cold weather and the restaurant accommodating outside reservations inside. However, it did not spoil our evening. Service was excellent and waiter was cordial and professional. Most importantly, we did not feel rushed and were permitted to order different courses as we progressed. Food options and raw bar selections were explained clearly so as to understand the amounts of food received especially for the stone crabs, crab legs, etc. We enjoyed a couple of appetizers which were plentiful and delicious and split an entree which was split for us. The cornbread is to die for. Very pleasant evening. Don't miss an evening there.

   Claw Bar is a birthday tradition for my friend and I. We shared fried oysters to start. Oysters were plump and perfectly cooked. My friend had the mussels. Mussels were large and juicy. The broth was very flavorful. I had the SEA BLT. As always, it was delicious! Lots of fresh sea food, bacon and of course the fried green tomato that served as the base of the “seafood tower.” Service, as always was perfect. At the end, we were treated to a little celebration cake and Claw Bar’s unique oyster shells with happy birthday messages on the shell- complete with the year! We of course will be back to continue our birthday tradition! Claw Bar is a must!

   We have been seasonal visitors here in Naples for the past 13 years and this was our very first visit to The Claw Bar but I'm trying to go back tomorrow??!! It was amazing and why I had skipped this jewel I have no idea but don't make my mistake, OK? The decor and ambience is fabulous. When we walked into the main dining area (there is a beautiful patio area with dining and also upstairs there is a beautiful room and terrace area for dining plus The London Club) we were promptly greeted and taken to our table. Again, promptly had our water glasses filled and our server came over quickly for drink orders. My cosmopolitan (old school, I know) was one of the best ever and I'm a bit picky how I like those - server and bar tender nailed it! We had the crab cakes for appetizers served on a bed of coleslaw that had THE best dressing - they were awesome. Two of us ordered the Grouper special - fabulous and cooked to perfection - and the other two ordered a signature dish I believe was called the Seafood Stew and it was out of this world! Think the best of shrimp, scallops, lobster, mussels, etc. all tossed in a lovely heavenly really, creole type sauce with a side of rice on the side.....it was magic! I'll have that next time although I "tried" my husbands all thru his dinner. Too stuffed for dessert but the choices looked amazing. You all, please don't wait to see this gem. It's a great place - get your reservations early in season - this one books out!
