   We loved our meal at the Club House. Delicious food, amazing value and a lovely vibe made for a brilliant Sunday lunch. Will return.

   We have had many meals here with excellent food & service even at busy periods throughout the years. However, on this BH occasion the service wasn't so sleek & efficient having to wait for service. We had to go to the counter several times to chase up. Food was great and good value but the roast dinners lacked some vegetable portion size & gravy compared to previous experiences. We asked for more gravy but again had to chase up. Staff were courtesy but clearly over stretched.

   We enjoyed a super evening meal at the Clubhouse at West Bexington. We ate in the dog friendly marquee which was light and warm. I think it actually afforded a better view than the main restaurant too. The service was great - food was served on hot plates and was very well presented - We enjoyed crab linguine, fish of the day (Newlyn cod) and whole black bream - all were perfectly cooked and delicious. Without doubt the BEST place to eat between West Bay and Weymouth!

   Once always a reliable venue for quality and service we were disappointed for the first time ever. The restaurant says it has made some changes and these are obviously not for the better. It's somewhere I have trusted to entertain family or clients in the past but I don't intend to visit again. . Service was friendly but I sense an overall diminishment in the offering and quality as if the venue is now being run by accountants rather than chefs. Coffee at the end of the meal arrived late and cold and that kind of sums everything up that we felt. I don't think our guests who had not been to the venue before noticed but as host I felt embarrassed.

   Not a great experience today. Been there lots of times before, we are locals. Booked table & provided card details in case of no show (completely understandable). Arrived bang on time with elderly mother to find no table ready for us, had to wait for one to be set up. Only 2 choices for Sunday roast, then we were told they’d sold out of one of them! Had fish & chips instead, already at a supplement over & above the £20 for 2 courses but if you wanted mushy peas there was a further £2.95 supplement, really?! Service was slow. Shan’t be rushing back.

   A superb location with tremendous views huge gardens and patio area added to outstanding service from a delightful knowledgeable waitress. Oh and the food was excellent too !!!

   It was Sunday lunch on a glorious May bank-holiday weekend so we expected the restaurant to be busy.Having booked well in advance it was a surprise to wait 15minutes to be seated. Unfortunately, there was a large booking of about 25/30 dominating the usually calm environment of the marquee. They were so loud and selfish that it was difficult to have a normal conversation on our table for4 also in the marquee. Even so the food and service lived up to our expectations of this favourite restaurant.
