   The restaurant is beautiful in every way. The service is really good. The food: Not only were they out of their Saturday special of prime rib by 6:30 which can happen but they were also out of the Weiner Schnitzel by then. This is just very poor ordering to accommodate the number of reservations for the night which should not have happened so early in the evening. I love a good Cesar salad and it’s not here. It was nothing more than an overly lemony dressing which had absolutely nothing to do with a true Cesar whatsoever. My husband had the Cornish Hen (his 3rd choice) and the white meat was dry. I had the STEAK TARTARE as my main course and it was ok. Finally we shared a dessert special which I forgot what they called it but all it was instant vanilla pudding with 2 tiny meringue dots and 4 tiny pieces of fruit which was complimentary because of our special occasion and we’re grateful because it was not worth any money. Too many misses for what they charge and they are not so new anymore to make such errors.

   The food was delicious. The steaks were cooked at the right temperature. The service team was wonderful. They are good about food allergies. We truly appreciated that. The restaurant was just beautiful inside with unique decor. They gutted the restaurant from the previous restaurant. The rooms were decorated with careful consideration of the building’s and the town’s history. We will be going back.

   We loved spending our anniversary at the Commodore. The staff made us feel like family. The food was excellent. The whole restaurant is beautiful and not crowed.

   Always such an enjoyable and amazing meal at The Commodore! Staff is usually on point. The decor is warm and inviting and relaxing. The food is fantastic, especially the fillet Oscar.

   Food was outstanding.... however, waitstaff was a little uncoordinated with taking orders and delivering drinks and food.

   Our first visit to this restaurant. Very impressed with the entry, people and views. We were seated at an outstanding table which seemed almost like a room with a view of our own. Great service by our three member crew. Menu was excellent, choices abundant and wine list with a few true gems. The service cadence was spot on. Definitely a destination restaurant location you will want to place on your to-do list to experience.

    It’s was our 1st time and while service was wonderful, none of us said this is a meal I want again. Meal 1 was Beef Wellington & 2nd was Prime Rib. Both were cooked to temperature perfection, the Prime was tough & the Wellington ok (not spectacular).
