   Outstanding food and ambience. One of the best collections of Wisconsin regionalist artwork seen outside of the Museum of Wisconsin Art. Service was first rate. It will set the standard for fine dining in Lake Country.

   The remodel is gorgeous. The food was over the top delicious and looked like art. Service was excellent. Will be back for sure. Thank you for making a birthday dinner memorable.

   We had a very good first experience at The Commodore. The property is exceptional and the food and service were very good. We also enjoyed talking with Paul Bartolotta (ask him about the pronunciation of his last name - it's a compelling story). Cheers!

   Stunning simplicity: exceptional staff - nice update to local go-to-location - interesting menu! Friendly attentive people from the coat check to desk to service team for our table. It was easy to tell they enjoyed their jobs. The food was amazing, exceeding what I have come to expect at a Bartolotta restaurant.

   The food and service were exceptional. The experience was very pleasurable. The only issue was the noise level in the dining area. We were there on a Friday night. It was difficult to have a conversation at our table. The overall experience was spectacular.

   We ate at Commodore on a busy Friday night. The noise level made conversation difficult for our table of four. The service was excellent—the servers were friendly and engaging while remaining professional. Food and requests for service were answered promptly. However, the food left something to be desired. The appetizer was uninspired and bland. The salmon entree was fine but, in the end, the desserts were disappointing. All told, the restaurant was too expensive for the food and ambience that was presented. We will not be returning.

   Moved by hostess to 2 different tables before we were united with the couple we were joining. Wait staff was so new they couldn’t answer any of our questions regarding drinks or food menu. Could not hear anyone because of noise level, wait staff as well as the couple we were with. Our food order took over an hour. We had to ask repeatedly for our drinks to be served. Won’t be back.

    We three enjoyed dinner at the Commodore. Beautiful dining room. Attentive and personable waitstaff. The curried seafood bisque was simply extraordinary. The filet was juicy and tender - cooked medium rare. The salmon might have been slightly dry, but delicious. We loved the pineapple upside down cake. As the room filled up the noise level made conversation difficult.
