   Dinner and drinks with Friends. Espresso Martinis were delicious. Buffalo Chicken dip to start was great with chips, Nan bread, carrots and celery. Steak salad, Fish sandwich and Salmon entree for dinner all very tasty.

   Food was good, but management needs to do more to support the sole bartender/server when they are busy. The restaurant was full and they expected the bartender to act as the waitress for all the bar tables, the bar and make all the drinks for the rest of the restaurant. All while servers were standing around that were handling the rest of the restaurant. This is not a knock against the sole bartender, she didn't stop moving clearly overwhelmed with the volume of work. Managers should have jumped in either to wait the tables in the bar area, directed a server to help or helped behind the bar themselves.

   The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great vibe that made for a relaxed evening. The food was solid—nothing overly fancy, but well-prepared and enjoyable. Service was friendly and attentive. While it may not be a place that completely wows, it’s a great spot for a casual, comfortable meal. Would definitely come back.

   Food was excellent however coffee is terrible. Tried the power bowl with grilled chicken added. So so good! Also shared some Brussels sprouts, they are delicious!

   The Millyard went all out for Valentine’s Day with a special menu, ambiance and even a photo booth. Our dining included a “Cheese Lovers” appetizer array and a blueberry-lemonade mocktail, followed by butternut squash ravioli with maple sauce and garlic herb crusted haddock. All were great, as was the service! Passed on dessert, but the chocolate covered strawberries were a nice surprise. Well done! 👏👏

   Overall food was good, but the menu was different than what we signed up for. Surf and turf was prime rib (lots of fat) rather than strip steak. Mashed potato, not baked. No appetizer salad. We were seated in the Cafe, which had mostly open tables when we arrived. We asked to be seated at a regular table instead of a high top, but the rather curt waitress said every table was reserved. When we left 90 minutes later, all those tables were still empty.

    My husband and I had a fabulous Valentine's Day dinner at Common Man Millyard, a restaurant we always enjoy. The tables were decorated for the occasion, and our dinner included cocktails (a black cherry old fashioned and a maple Manhattan), chicken dumplings with yuzu sauce, and surf and turf entrees: delicious prime rib with poached lobster, hollandaise, perfectly tender asparagus, and mashed potatoes. The service was excellent too. Highly recommended.
