First impressions of the overall space were incredible - it’s very well designed and the lounge section looks so cool. The service was amazing - our server was was well informed and so nice. My friend has a serious gluten allergy and the server double checked everything for us. She did say you used to have a specific GF fryer and we do hope you bring that back but besides that the non fried GF food we did order was mind blowing. The street corn pasta is the stuff dreams are made of and the ropa vieja was SOOOOO good. We will def be coming back! My dining companion friends had fried catfish sandwich and the salmon. There was a mix up with the sandwich as it was supposed to be served with okra and the kitchen substituted the fried potatoes without any notice. The server was gracious and offered a salad or another cocktail, which my friend opted for the cocktail. The staff are wonderful from the host to the server and accompanying servers. The noise level is high, which sometimes is difficult to hear, but it's an energetic place. One of the bar staff did not seem to know that Prosecco was sparkling wine. My husbands’ Old Fashioned was good, but should have been served w/a large ice cube. Bill did a great job w/ the drinks & kudos for his professional attire. My husband ordered New York steak at $42. That was extremely disappointing, corn that was either over cooked or canned, nice scalloped potatoes & a steak that had appeared to be cut into a thinner/leaner strip. All of this presented in a plate that belonged in a pub. If the restaurant is going to have $42 steak then the service & presentation should reflect that.\nThe restaurant is beautiful, just needs more of a vision of what it is & what it wants to be. The Copper Crow is a purveyor of fine food & craft cocktails located in the historic Andrew Kirk & Son’s Brewery building at 904 Broadway in Albany, New York’s North end warehouse district. The Copper Crow’s food menu features an eclectic collection of American fusion dishes that incorporate international influences, ingredients & cooking methods from various regions around the world. Wherever possible we rely on ingredients that are sustainably & locally sourced. Tuesday through Friday the bar opens at 4pm and the kitchen opens at 5pm and closes at 10pm. On Saturday and Sunday the bar and kitchen open at noon. Saturday night the kitchen closes at 10pm and Sunday night the kitchen closes at 9pm.

Please someone talk to the host. We arrived 15 minutes earlier than our reservation & explained we’d like to try their cocktails at the bar first. This aggressive little guy is behind us at the bar shouting our table is ready while the poor bartender is making our drinks. I’ve never been so embarrassed in my entire life.
Happy hour drinks still cost $50 for 4 of us.
Food was delicious, service was great from our waitress but the host is going to tank this place sooner than later.
If we return & he is there, we will leave.

Bao buns were okay; the pork belly was nice, though it could've used a little heat, but the buns themselves were dry and, honestly, not Bao. The ropa vieja was excellent, as was the rice. The Cuban sandwich really wasn't a Cuban (more of a cross between an Italian mix and something else) but good. Service was attentive but not overbearing, average cost for a mid-level eatery.

food was interesting and good.
Beer list should list size of glass, we ordered two and the runner placed then in front of the wrong person. Because we had never had either before we were not sure. The glass size was different so it would have been clear if the beer list had stated the size.
