We like to try a new restaurant for our anniversary every year. This year we tried The Cork. An older restaurant in Tucson in an older building we loved the atmosphere. Sadly, we were seated next to a large party of 8 that were obviously having a great time, but as large parties do, they were very loud and the low ceiling and small room made it impossible for anyone else in that room to have a conversation until they left. Once they did and the room returned to normal, we had an enjoyable evening. The food was great. And we will most likely return sometime, but we’ll ask for a table not anywhere near a large group. It did negatively impact our special evening.

Catherine was our waitress and was excellent. We sat by the fireplace and enjoyed it. We met a lovely couple toward the end who frequently dine there and had a lovely chat with them!

The Cork is the best - a great old school steak house with lots of new menu flair and a very local, down home vibe. No wonder they’ve been around so long!!

The Cork is a favorite of ours. We loved as Jonathans Cork & have continued to enjoy it since it’s sale to new owners. The prices have escalated- not ideal - but the food quality is still solid. A Tucson classic.

Extremely disappointed that the new owners have removed the Southwestern Stuff Chicken Breasts from the menu. We live in the NW part of Tucson and were willing to drive to the far east side of Tucson for this signature entree. If what they replaced it with was comparable, then it would be just as alluring to make the trip. Sadly, this is not true so we’ll most likely not be making the journey in the future. Thank you in advance for saving us the time and gas money. P.S. what they call street corn is just lime juice with some corn kernels added for texture.

New Year's Eve reservation. We waited almost an hour for our main course. I don't know if the order was lost or what happened. Friendly waiter. Good food. Always loud at the Cork but with the low ceilings, that can't be helped.

Food was good but costly for the amount. Service was slow, felt like our server was serving too many tables.
