   Excellent service, friendly people, great food at great prices. Really enjoyed our meal. There was a cosy relaxing atmosphere. Convenient car park situated behind restaurant. Definitely recommend

   Well presented local produce dishes. Fantastic service, food and environment to enjoy it in. Great to find somewhere like this in a local community. We will definitely be back soon.

   The bistro was very busy but staff still made time to be friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and well worth the wait. We have been a few times now and feel the quality of the food is consistently good.

   Enjoyed Sunday dinner with family for my husband's birthday. The service was excellent. The staff made the occasion special for my husband. The food was outstanding as usual.

   From being warmly and royally welcomed to being bid a cheery farewell, the whole experience (our first visit) was a great pleasure. Service was prompt without rushing us, no special request was too much trouble, and the quality of the meal was superb. The bisque with the scallops was mouth watering, the lamb was tender and flavoursome, and the accompanying vegetables plentiful and cooked to the point of tenderness without being overdone. The Crème caramel was most refreshing, and my wife’s bread and butter pudding (which she was regretfully unable to finish) a delicious conclusion to the meal. The wine choice was comprehensive, and our Côtes du Rhône was in fine condition and served at an appropriate temperature. We will certainly be returning and recommending this restaurant to friends. We were made to feel that the staff were genuinely delighted to see us. Thank you for providing us with a lovely celebration on Easter Sunday.

   Appallingly slow service and so disappointed as we’ve only been twice and it has been the same on both occasions. Front of house appears well organised so I can only surmise the problem lies in how the kitchen is organised. Food was nice enough but not exceptional and roast not hot enough. Dessert was nice to eat but no flavour of either rhubarb or frangipane despite being called rhubarb frangipani!! Such a lovely environment but they need to up their game in terms of food and service to compete with other local establishments which deliver both at a much higher level.
