   Cosy pub in a lovely spot in Sandwich. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Excellent service and absolutely delicious food.

   Excellent Sunday lunch as always. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food perfect and generous portions . I had the Nut Roast whilst my wife had the Turkey roast - both delicious. Really good value . Highly recommended 😊

   I absolutely love this place. No request is too much for them. They always offer beautiful food and have a spectacular gluten free range for those with coeliac disease. The staff are incredibly attentive and it's such a beautiful venue. Thank you always!!

   Food was passable but nothing to write home about. Main meal portions were not over generous especially the dessert. We had the bread and butter pudding which should be a reasonable thickness and soft. That served was no more than the thickness of a standard slice of bread. Very disappointing. This was a birthday evening out so disappointed.

   We booked a short stay in Sandwich and a friend recommended The Crispin for dining. I booked for two for Sunday lunch. The Sunday roast was delicious and we thoroughly recommend it. Service was prompt and polite. We brought our dog and he was also welcomed and offered treats and water.

    Checked with pubs online website re: restaurant hours. Clearly stated h til 21:30. Booked table for 20:30 for 4. One of party delayed in traffic due to road closures in Sandwich. Officious dark-haired waitress informed us at 20:40 that unless we ordered by 20:45 the restaurant was closing. Fortunately our final attendee arrived in the nick of time. When challenged about the website content I was informed that 21:30 was only applicable if the initial order had been made by 20:45. We’ve eaten here several times in the past, on the basis of this experience we decided to order the minimum, skip desserts and never return.
