While the food was good, the server did not remove a single empty plate or dish from the table, and presented the cheque, brought the card payment machine to take payment and STILL everything remained on the table. I’ve never experienced this in 30 years of dining out. Honestly, this is gross and unacceptable.

Start to finish. A delight. Our server, Brook, was a doll. Sweet & on-the-ball server! Food was amazing. Every dish. Mai tai was one of my favorites on all the islands. Absolutely loved the antique cars too. The man who was showing us around knew his cars. A great experience. Can't wait to return.

My husband took the one hour long drive to the North Shore of Oahu to have lunch at The Crouching Lion. It was well worth it! We ordered a variety of the small items on the menu and enjoyed it all. The service was very friendly and the place was so relaxed!

Went to celebrate my Mom's bday. We were seated right away and our table was waiting for us. They were very kind and the atmosphere was nice. It was a beautiful day and the family of 10 was perfect. The have 2 kitchens... the Robata Grill and Regular kitchen foods. So many options. Temaki Platter, Surf & Turf, Kimbap Rolls, Raw Bar, Sharables, Noodle Bar, Kids meals and desserts. Let's not forget the Non-Alcoholic and Alcoholic options. Brooke was our Server and she was patient and attentive to our Ohana. Everything we ordered was ONO and came to our table quickly. They got busy pretty fast with lots of people coming and going. But the vibes were nice. There was another party celebrating a birthday, which were local and that was nice to see. There were tourist and local people there. The Coffee Shop was pretty cool too. They have a variety which includes a Lavender coffee that I have to go back and try. On the top of the hill to the left, is a 2 story building which has some specialty cars from back in the days. The Owner I guess saw us walk in and approached us. He was really nice and talked about the cars and the Crouching Lion. We will definitely be going back there for more food and some coffee. Go check 'em out.

The food is decent, but the portion sizes are small for the high prices. For example, they charge extra for just four pieces of lettuce to accompany the wagyu larb, which is ridiculous, and every single item is priced separate. There’s also no happy hour, which is a letdown because the cocktail prices run nearly $20. That said, the service has improved since the restaurant first opened. Still, overall it feels like the concept isn't the best fit for the Ko‘olauloa community. The place is naturally beautiful but the half-gaudy decor and high à la carte prices feel more tailored to visitors—particularly white tourists—than to local residents (very sad for Ka'a'awa natives who already have our beaches and mountains treated like a social media photo frenzy).

Delicious selection of Asian fusion foods. Unique items are sharable with your table guests. We enjoyed everything about our experience and meal.
