   We visited for the first time last night, we got recommendations to visit after 2 years. We wish we could come sooner. Every food is serve with outstanding dishes and delicious. We enjoyed tasting foods and wines evening. We will definitely coming back. Thank you!

    We had the 3 course set lunch menu which was both innovative and of high quality. The chef Paul Welburn has never been afraid of experimenting, and often tries out dishes for the tasting menu on the set menu first. Therefore for an excellent price of £35 plus service the ingredients and cooking are first class, and usually new to the recipient. Our starter was ox cheek cake with a blackberry sauce, wonderfully tasty and the densely packed meat was plentiful even if the volume looked small. The monkfish main was delightfully cooked in a tasty prawn and potato chowder with smoked leeks and sea beets. The dessert a refreshing lemon infused soft meringue with honey and whiskey. We will miss the chef when he moves to Cornwall in March but understand his sous chef of 14 years is taking over.
