   Haven't been back since the Floridan reopened. Very please with great service and great environment for a quiet dinner of high quality food.

   There was only one server working the entire floor. He was great. Wine glass was dirty and had to ask for a steak knife for my steak. Over all, I would go back.

   We were welcomed as we entered by the bartender who started us with good Margaritas. Food was also good and prepared quickly. Only deficiency was no coffee available!

   The venue is breathtakingly gorgeous. The food was awful. We were the ONLY two people in the restaurant for an hour during prime lunch hours. I am not surprised the place is empty. The menu could be found in a dive bar. I ordered a basic chicken sandwich. Ten minutes later, they told me they were out of the item. They should have served the meal during the time. Then, I ordered a ceasar salad with chicken. Twenty minutes later, they brought the salad without chicken. NEVER AGAIN!!!

   Yes, we were late because uber cancelled many times due to the hockey game. I called once and explained. I felt scolded when the hostess received us. She told me I should have called more. When we arrived, the place was empty so her attitude made no sense to me. We could have sat at the bar. Fries were a serious disppointment. Our server was great. He returned many times to check on us. The food was good. Nice. Nothing to go crazy about or miss or crave tomorrow. Nice. I loved that the noise level allowed for great conversation and laughter. We were spliting a dish. I love when the restaurant goes ahead and splits it in two plates. Not here. We got the nice beautiful short rib. I used an appetizer plate to divide portions. The Devil is in the details... not many here. I had a great time because company and space were perfect. Is it to die for? No. It is nice.

   Nice atmosphere and good service but the food was sub par except for the Brussels sprouts. Scallops were dry and flavorless. Steak was undercooked and had to be sent back. Price was way too high for the quality

   I had the short ribs and omgosh it was delicious!! We had the best server ever, JJ!! The bread pudding and truffle fries were outstanding. I will be back

    Another extraordinary experience at The Dan. Service (J) is always extra extraordinary and the imaginative offerings are always a hit with my friends and me. Cannot recommend it too much, Food and service were very good, but left credit card behind and have emailed twice and called once and there has been no reply. Had to cancel my credit card which was quite an inconvenience.
