   We didn’t eat there. When we got there for our reservation We were told they were closed for a private party. They apologized and told me I’d receive my deposit back in the next few days. They also gave me 2 $50 gift cards, however I doubt I’ll ever use them since I don’t live in the area.

   The Den is not really a restaurant. The food selection made McDonalds look fancy. We ordered mozzarella sticks as a quick appetizer and they were short and a little burnt (I won't comment on the flavor... which was basically "fried cheese" flavor...). It went downhill from there. They were out of many types of wine and some types of beer. I ordered one IPA and the waitperson advised me to try another because the one I ordered was almost out... so the taste would not be good. The many screens playing around the bar were mostly just loud.

   My wife & I made reservations as were going to be in the area for a show at Broward Theater. Thought this was a perfect location to grab something to eat pre-theater. Our visit was around opening on Sunday morning. The hostess was very pleasant and greeted us at the front door. Angelina, our waitress had a great smile on her face and was extremely accommodating. Since it was the morning she made sure our iced tea was freshly brewed. In addition, Angelina was proactive in bringing extra ice to the table to make sure the iced tea was cold. Unfortunately, the place was pretty empty around noon. The Den Kitchen & Bar was clean & the atmosphere was great, I could imagine that it's an upbeat place to be later in the day Sunday for sports watching. I'm a young thinking senior and it appears to have a great vibe for nightlife. The bar appeared to be well outfitted for a disc jockey and/or live music. We had the grilled mahi tacos and they were spot on. Slightly more salt than our liking so next visit we will just ask to leave out the salt. (Definitely, Not a deal breaker!) The Aioli had a great flavor and added a nice spice kick. Hopefully, my review encourages The Den Kitchen & Bar to maintain its early Sunday hours as we plan to make this our regular spot pre-theater.

   Love Dirty Bingo w/ Brian!!! If you have never attended their monthly Dirty Bingo you are missing out. Good food, decent services (gets pretty busy), and full of fun!! Definitely not appreciate for under 18.
